K.)—Mrs. Molesworth is writing bore for very young readers, and is at her best. The eight stories are as good of their kind as they well can be. What are we to say of the young lady who made up her mother's accounts, and in which halts-crown had somehow been missed, by secretly introducing her own cherished coin ? It would be an interesting question for the casuists.
