The Prime Minister's Visit If the Anglo-American discussions had not
thus prospered, the Prime Minister would probably have postponed his visit to America. As it is, all the plans have been made for him to leave Southampton in the Berengaria ' on Saturday, September 28th. He is due to reach New York on October 4th and will go at once to Washington. It is probable that he will be the guest of President Hoover till October 10th. After a short visit to New York he will go to Canada, and he hopes to meet the Canadian Prime Minister, Mr. Mackenzie King, at Ottawa. By not returning home until Novem- ber 1st, he will miss the first few days of the autumn session of Parliament.
