gardening is A Concise Handbook of Garden Flowers, by H. M. Batson (Methuen and Co., 3s. 6d.) Mr. Batson adopts the alphabetical order. His space, in view of the size of the book and the extent of the subject, is limited; but the information will probably suffice for ordinary purposes. Special information can be found elsewhere.
