LIMESTONE WALLS
[To THE EDITOR OF THE " SPECTATOR.") Snt,—So much interesting correspondence has appeared- in your columns on the subject of building and pied work, I wonder if you or any of your readers could suggest a way of treating lime- stone walls to prevent the effects of their sweating on paper and plaster. The damp does not seem in the least injurious to health, but ruins anything on the wall.—I am, Sir, &e., H. B.
