Stock Exchange Official Intelligence. Edited by the Secre- tary to
the Share and Loan Department. (Spottiswoode and Co. 42s.)— In addition to the customary official information as to all the varieties of property which are made the object of Stock Exchange transactions, we have in this volume (the twenty-first annual issue) the report of the Commission on Local Taxation, with a summary of the evidence brought before it, the figures, &e. We have also a table of the National Debts of the world, a highly interesting document, though not quite so satisfactory to British readers as it has been in years not at all remote. However, if our Debt has increased, so have also, it would appear, our capital and the indebtedness of the world in general to us.
