" YOUNG INDIA."

[To THE EDITOR OF THE " SPECTATOR."] 8111,—Will you allow me to point out the wrong statement you have made in your last week's issue in the News of the Week column? Mr. Gandhi's paper is Young India, and not New India as you write. New India is published in Madras, and is owned by Mrs. Besant, who is a staunch opponent of Mr. Gandhi's non-co-operation policy. That Mr. Gandhi should write a "violent" article in a paper with which he has nothing to do looks absurd on the face of it. I hope you will insert this correction in your next issue.—I am, Sir,

GANOMNIAR V. THATTEY.
