The power of this piece rests principally in the triplets of the accom- paniment and the cadences. There is a class of "songs without tunes" to which we will not say this belongs, for it possesses a very de- cided tune, though, stripped of its top-coat of triplets, it makes a some- what ancient and threadbare appearance.
