A most interesting historical memoir of the tower of the
Quth and the surrounding buildings has been published in the Memoirs of the Archaeological Survey of India, by Mr. Page, the Superintendent of the Survey. There are some remarkably tine illustrations of this bold and virile architecture of the Slave Kings and their successors and the text is all that we have come to expect from these publications, scholarly yet interestingly written. Many of the more serious-minded tourists who visit the fascinating sites of ancient Delhi would do well to read this monograph.
