MARRIED LIFE. By Edith O'Shaughnessy. (The Story Series No. 2.
Jonathan Cape. 7s. 6d. net.)—Under the title of Married Life Edith O'Shaughnessy publishes an exceedingly clever selection of stories. The author's talent is decidedly macabre. For instance, the readers will find in Seeing Edward Again" a description of a deathbed which will impress him both with its cynicism and its truth. There is nothing commonplace either in the matter or the manner of the telling of this and several of the other stories.
