second edition of an elegant little volume, Sepiem Psalmorum Poenitentialium versio Elegiaca, a Richardo J. Walker (Wertheimer, Lea, and Co., 58. net). We venture to suggest to Mr. Walker that humi/iter does not mean "humbly," but "basely."
It is an instance of an ethical change effected in language. .
