Waugh bash
Sir: I write to say how much I agree with Colonel's Skinner's letter (November 18). No one need buy Simon Raven's filth, but your unfortunate subscribers have no choice, when reading the Spectator's 'Review of Books.' I personally met Arthur Waugh — the father of Evelyn and Alec — and know how he would have loathed the prostitution of a once respected journal of letters.
