[To THE EDITOR OF TEE " SPECTATOR...] SrB,—During last year you were good enough to insert a letter from me on the subject of a playing-field for the children of this place, and at the same time to give us certain advice as to the conveyance of the land. It may interest you and those. of your readers who are interested in such matters, to know that the land has now been conveyed to the National Trust "to hold, for ever, as a playground for the children of Knowle." The. whole of the purchase-money has been collected, and additional money for fencing and the erection of swings, a giant stride, &c., so that now the children have a-field of their own in which they en play their games and otherwise amuse themselves, to the great advantage of all ooncerned.—Again thanking you for 'the interest you have
