SIR,—Referring to your article on cottages at £150 each, which was of interest to me as one who is considering the erection of some labourers' cottages, I beg to point out that you have made no provision for a water supply, no rain-water tank is provided, and nothing is charged for the fencing-in of the gardens. Probably other omissions will be pointed out to you, but those which I have mentioned occur to me now.— (Colonel and J.P.).
