Miss Esme Stuart has collected here thirteen short stories, naturally of varying interest, but worth a more prolonged existence than falls to the lot of periodical fiction,—for such we conjecture to have been the form of their Erst appearance. "Row George Hill was Saved" is one of the best. "I'm a Soldier" and "A Blue Moon" may also be mentioned.
