THE .King arrived on Wednesday afternoon at St. James's Palace, from Windsor, to hold the usual Levee; the attendance at which ap- pears to have been unusually thin. Among the company, were the Duke of Norfolk, Earl Nelsen, Lord Stafford, Sir J. D. Astley, Ad- miral Fleming, Mr. Botch, and Mr. MaAdam. Soon after six o'clock, the King returned to Windsor.

The Princess Victoria is recovering from an attack of influenza. The Duke of Sussex has been suffering from a severe cold, in addi- ton to the complaint in his eyes; but he is now better.
