Geddie. Vol. II. (Chambeis. 20s. net.) The second volume of the new " Chambers " runs from Beaucaire to Cataract. The innumerable short articles appear to have been revised with care and the maps and illustrations are useful. Women readers will, however, note with curiosity the reference to " blouse " as merely the French workman's outer garment ; even the editors of " Chambers " occasionally nod.
