' The settlement of affairs at Dresden seems to have
given great satisfaction. On the 14th of September, the National and Mu- nicipal Guards passed in review before the King and the Princes, all of whom were received with enthusiastic cheering. Tranquil- lity having been perfectly restored, the attendance of a great por- tion of the guard has been dispensed with. This has been an- nounced by a proclamation issued by Prince FREDERICK.
