Indeed, Working Days (Cape, 6s.), which Mrs. Pollock edits and to which Lord Buckmaster writes a foreword, reviews itself in its sub-title, which reveals it as "the personal records of sixteen working men and women written by themselves." There is now no excuse for one-half of the world's not knowing how the other half lives.
