Wluttalcer's Library of Popular Science. We have two volumes of
this handy little series,—" Light," by Sir H. Trueman Wood, and " The Plant-World," by G. Masses. Both of these seem to be carefully and plainly written ; and the work of Mr. Masses, which is a sort of introduction to botany, treating of plant architecture, chemistry, reproduction, and distribution, is most readable and well arranged, and just the book to give the average reader a general view of the vegetable kingdom and its striking features.
