The Admiral's despatches from the late scene of action at

Bor- neo have been received since our last number. It results from them, that we have inflicted on the Sultan a lesson which may, or may not, make a lasting impression upon him ; but we have not obtained any diplomatic advantage, or any solid security for the future.
