An excellent mapis'now'a regulat fea'airra-efthic directory.-The Peace Year Book, 1913 (National Peace Council, 167 St. Stephen's House, Westminster, is.), contains details of the war strength of the various nations, information as to the different peace organizations; and' special articles- by such well-known men as Lord Avebury, Professor Browne, 'Mr. Snowden, and Mr. Norman Angell.-A new addition to the long list of bio- graphical year-books has reached us, namely, Bitsiltess Men. at Home and Abroad, 1912-1913.- (16 St. -Pant's Chambers, Ludgate Hill, E.C. 15s. net.)-There certainly Deems likely to be a demand , for such a book, which contains' short biographies of the directors and managers of important business firms.-There have recently been published the fifth volume of the Miscydopaedia of Religion and Ethics, edited by James Hastings, D.D. (T. and .7. Clark, 28s. net), and the third volume of A Cyciopaodia of Education, edited by Paul Monroe, Ph.D. (Macmillan and Co., 21s. net.)
