Letters have been received from Dr. Livingstone dated 24th February.
He was then at Mozambique, and about to proceed to Bombay, having just completed a journey on foot through a range of mountains north-west of the Shiro, an account of which will be
given to the Geographical Society on 13th June. He alludes in his letters to a report of his being murdered, which he trusted would not reach his family, as he had never had any difficulty with any native tribe engaged in slave trading.
