5s.)—Mr. Farrow's comic animals, " Wallypugs " and the like, have come to be a recognised part of the literature of this time, and there is no need for us to recommend his latest effort in this direction. Here we have as usual the lucky boy whose ears are opened to hear what monkeys, chameleons, rabbits, bumble-bees, and a whole posse of other creatures say to each other. All this is well done, and Mr. Gordon Browne with his clever illustrations does no little to heighten the effect.
