According to the Times, there are letters in London from

Nova Scotia, mentioning the assemblage of a considerable number of malecontents on the Vermont frontier. It is added, that Sir JOHN COLBORNE, anticipating an attack on Lower Canada, had ordered all the troops he could spare from other quarters to move in that direction.
