a volume in the "Girls' Library," excellent in intention and generally good in its way, But should a book for girls have so much more about love-making in it than we should expect in a book for boys? The concluding part, with its account of Mary Fraser's activity in the midst of the troubles of "The Great Strike," seems to us much more to the purpose.
