Co. is. 6d.)—A charming school book containing stories from Mandeville, from Langland, from the Arthurian legend, and from several other sources. Nothing could be more delightful for children than this type of lesson book, which goes back to the original sources of history and helps to clothe the bare boughs of a genealogical tree with something of the verdure of imagination. The type in the present volume, however, makes it a book to be read aloud to children rather than a "reader."
