The Flora of C7w4hire. By Lord de Tabley. Edited by
Spencer Moore. (Longmsms and Co. 16s. net.)—Sir Mountstuart Grant Duff supplies an excellent little memoir of Lord de Tabley, who was a many-sided man. He was, in the first place, a poet, though he can hardly be ranked among those whom the world reads. He wrote reviews, being a contributor to the Saturday Bedew in its early days. He was an enthusiastic collector of coins, he wrote about bookplates, he was a novelist, and, as this volume proves, a botanist. The value of this can be judged by experts only. Their opinion is, we believe, highly favourable.
