THE SPIRIT OF OUR ARMY.

[To one Eorroa or ten " firecoros.") Sna,—A passage in a letter recently received from my son, an officer now in France, gives evidence of the excellent spirit of our troops at the front. He says, having sometimes to censor the men's letters:- " I am very much struck with the good tone of them. Of course one tries not to read more than ie necessary, but I am very struck with the good sense the men show in writing home: so many of them are urging their wives and relations to ' stick it out ' and [saying] how they are content to do without leave if they can only get the war over."
