Mrs. Pope-Hennessy has prepared for the Central Prisoners of War

Committee a new and revised edition of her valuable Map of the Main Prison Camps in Germany and Austria (Nisbet, 284, with a gazetteer and index giving brief details in regard to the camps where British and American prisoners have been confined. Mrs. Pope-Hennessy refrains from any comment on the notoriously bad camps, such as Wittenberg. Her object is simply to help the relatives and friends of prisoners. Unhappily the worst brutalities are committed in minor camps near the battle-zone, the existence of which is not reported by the German Government through the Red Cross authorities.
