The private view of the choice collection of Dutch Pictures

made by Mr. EDWARD SOLLY, to be sold by auction next Wednesday at Foster's Rooms, drew together a numerous assemblage of connoisseurs and distinguished persons. There are some curious and beautiful -specimens of the Dutch school, particularly DE HODGE and JAN STEEN : we were most struck with a woody landscape by Hoanista, and a meadow scene with figures, under a bright effect of evening sunlight, by CAMPHUYSEN.
