BROWSING AROUND a railway station bookstall last week, a friend
of mine noticed among the remaindered volumes an 'Anglo-American Dic- tionary.' Attached to it was a notice: In spite of its title this is a very good English dictionary. Because of its title it has been reduced from 42s. to 12s. 6d.
I forgot to mention the railway station : it was Bournemouth (West).
