An admirable edition of M. Jusserand's La Vie Nomads has
just been issued for use in schools, under the care of Mr. A. Wilson-Green (Cambridge University Press, 4s. net). The young French students for whom such fascinating books as this are provided are more fortunate than their parcels, who had to learn lOrench Top. Picciola and • other dreary exercises in
sentiment. M. Jusserand's delightful study of the life on the English roads in Chaucer's time will, in this reprint, probably find new readers who are long past their schooldays.
