Sin,—In the Spectator of November 5th Mr. Brigstocke was -so good as to express his regret for the mistake made in his letter of the previous week, and you very kindly added words of your own, for which I desire to thank you. It occurs to me that some readers of the early letter may not notice that the second letter contradicts the statements of the first, because this Society's name is not mentioned in it.
