[To THE EDITOR OF THE "SPECTATOR."] SIR,—Next year will be the three hundredth anniversary of the publication of the Authorised Version of the Bible. Surely the Church of England, whose lasting, honour it is to have bequeathed this splendid monument of religion and literature to the whole English-speaking race, will not allow such an anniversary to pass without some signal commemora- tion of an event so far-reaching in its significance.—I am, Sir, • The King's School, Ely, Cambs.
