or min ..tirscreron.'1 San,—The farmers in this district are experiencing great diffi- culty in obtaining milkers. One friend of mine has found the difficulty so obstinate that he has recently sold his cows. If those who are so nobly endeavouring to find employment for the wounded were to have some of the maimed, and possibly the blind, trained to milk, they would be doing the men a real service, and at the same time meet a real need in agricultural districts. It might be possible for such trained milkmen to serve on adjoining farms.—I am, Sir, &a,
