(Sampson Low and Co.)—The pictures, both of figures (in which the artist uses, not without success, the manner of Miss Kate Green- away), and of still life, flowers, and fruit, and leaves, are good. For the verse we can hardly say as much. But the volume, on the whole, is attractive, and it is published with the admirable motive of helping a "Home for Workhouse Girls."
