Sir Kenneth Keith
In my remarks concerning Sir Kenneth Keith in the issue of The SPECTATOR (20 February) I referred to an investment which I stated that he had made in Mineral Securities. I have since learned that his personal investment was only fifteen hun- dred shares. Needless to say he did not bor- row money for this investment—which I did not intend to infer—and he did not send two Hill Samuel employees to Australia to find out why his investment had gone wrong. I apologise to Sir Kenneth Keith for any distress and inconvenience which my article may have caused him.
