Sea,—I was much struck by Mr. 011ivant's excellent sug- gestion in your last issue with regard to the work which might be done by members of the Volunteer Corps in the harvest-field. As a member of the Volunteer Corps, and also as a schoolmaster, I might point out that most Reboot- masters have a holiday in August and the first part of September, just the time when their services would be most appreciated in the corn-fields.
