Mr. Brodtick expressed in the Press has been most remarkable, and the few protests have been weak or hysterical. But though there has been a consensus of approval, there has been no attempt to overemphasise the incident, and General Buller has, we are delighted to see, been treated with the greatest consideration and kindliness. Nothing could, in fact,- have been more dignified than the .way in Which the Times and the Morning Poitihe Dim* Mail and the Stinidard, the Daily Telegraph and the Daily Chronicle, and he majority of the great dailies, have dealt with the subject.
