Ho has put together in thin volume an account, necessarily much abbreviated, of Cenadian history from 1608 down to recent times. The volume will be found a storehouse of valuable information.—With this may be mentioned A History of Canada, 17034812, by Sir C. P. Lucas (Clarendon Press, 12s. ed, net), in which an important section of the subject is treated by a writer who is an acknow- ledged authority on this topic.
