THE LONDON SURVEY.
[To IRS EDITOR Or T51 "Srscisros.” J
should be very glad to know whether any of your readers could give me any information as to where I could find the rate books kept by the overseers of the poor for: (a) The parish of Hammersmith (originally a Chapel of Ease of Fulham), and (b) the parish of St. Pancras. in both cases we have seen the books that are in the possession of the Borough Councils, but in the case of Hammersmith they do not go back earlier than 1795, and in the case of St. Pancras they were certainly not earlier than 1800.-1
