Next Week's ." Spectator " For the benefit of those

readers who welcome occasional practice in the reading of foreign languages The Spectator will, as from the next issue, publish short articles by French and German writers in their own languages dealing with current topics of interest in France and Germany. The first French notes will appear next week and the first German notes the week after. In the same issue the first of a series of fortnightly articles on motoring, designed particularly to meet the needs of owner-drivers, will appear.
