Russia keeps on forwarding troops to the Pacific, and the Japanese soldiers and sailors continue -planning in long conferences., . It is known, moreover, that ,Japan wants something more than the status; quo, she insisting • that whatever privileges are granted to Russia in Manchuria shall. be granted also to herself in Korea.. That does not suit 'Admiral Alexeieff and the Forward party in Russia at ill.
