ADELE AND CO. By Dornford Yates. (Hodder and Stough- ton.
7s. 6d.)—How pleasant it is to meet Berry .again after so many years. He has grown a little older, but is as witty and joyously idiotic as ever he was. He still dashes about in expensive cars. (this time he is racing about France in search of stolen jewels) and, of course, he is still surrounded by adorable women and gallant men and really nasty villains. Mr. Yates' stories grow wilder and snore improbable every year, but what does this matter so long as he will allow our Berry, the modern Scarlet Pimpernel, to be chief character ?
