(this time he is racing about France in search of stolen jewels) and, of course, he is still surrounded by adorable women and gallant men and really nasty villains. Mr. Yates' stories grow wilder and snore improbable every year, but what does this matter so long as he will allow our Berry, the modern Scarlet Pimpernel, to be chief character ?
