Stn,—If our food supplies is becoming a serious question, and it is, and if economy is to be practised and waste deprecated in every direction, surely it is time attention was given to the wanton waste by dumping immense quantities of grain into the distiller's and the brewer's vat to be converted into a material which is certainly not food, and questionably not
