It is wholly the right thing to produce these regimental histories for the sake of those on whom it falls to carry on the torch, and it is always a pleasure to announce the appearance of each in these columns. An admirable feature of the book is the four 1-100,000 maps in the pocket—maps of the kind so familiar to all who served in the War. This volume will help the Battalion to remember the renown it gained at Pas.schendaele.
