Brainee:e elaborate study of the site of " The Theatre " at Shoreditch, London's first playhouse, seems to fix it definitely on ground now built over, a little to the east of Curtain Read. When this playhouse was pulled down, the materials were used in the construction of Shakespeare's Globe Theatre.
