[An interesting exhibition of oils has been added to a

previous exhibition of drawings. Two exquisite Matisse landscapes ; two Marchands, which compare favourably with any that were at the Independent Gallery ; an Othon Frleaz still life ; two Pissarros full of the master's delicacy and shimmering light; a Gauguin, not typical in colour, but unmistakable in treatment. English artists are not well repre- sented. An exhibition well worth visiting.] rATE GALLERY (French Room).

[The Menne landscape, which we praised as " Be. 40 " at the Burlington Club Exhibition, is now on loan here.]
