Lord Grey urged the duty of supporting the League of
Nations. We are anxious to see Germany inside the League of Nations, but one of the conditions must be that she keeps her Treaty obligations; and one of these obligations is to keep down her naval and military forces to very small amounts. Lord Grey ended his speech by a short reference to home affairs. Coalition, he declared, was not natural to our politics and not healthy.
