ART BOOKS.
To his Great Engravers series Mr. Hind has added two volumes--• Holbein and llfareantonio. (W. Heinemann. 2s. 6d. net each.)— The introductory notes are scholarly, short, and to the point, and, as in the rest of this series, the reproductions are admirable. Besides the better-known Dance of Death, the Holbein volume contains the Old Testament illustrations, which are so wonderful for their directness and masterly simplicity.
